As additive manufacturing becomes more accessible, we provide industrial solutions for many 3D processes, from rapid prototyping to on-demand manufacturing.
Moving into production is as easy as 1, 10, 100, 1000 or 10000 with built in quantity discount pricing. No tooling is required for additive manufacturing. We offer various finish and dye options for your parts.
Panashape provides competitive online 3D printing services for easy prototyping or low volume manufacturing. We are known for our economical workflow with exceptional quality.
We produce over 95% of customer parts in-house using our own industrial SLS 3D printing systems, giving us full control over quality, lead times, and consistency. For projects requiring unique materials or specialized applications, we may involve trusted external partners—but only when necessary, and always with prior customer approval.
This balanced approach allows us to meet a wide range of production needs while keeping service efficient and responsive. We aim to deliver reliable results with the craftsmanship and attention every project deserves.
Your satisfaction is at the core of what we do, and we look forward to building lasting relationships based on trust, performance, and personalized support.
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS):
Advanced Manufacturing Without Limits
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is a powerful powder bed fusion technology that enables the production of highly complex, durable parts without the need for support structures. This opens the door to truly unrestricted design freedom—engineers and designers can create intricate geometries, internal channels, and lightweight lattice structures that would be impossible with traditional manufacturing or even other 3D printing methods.
SLS parts offer mechanical properties that closely rival those of injection-molded components, making the technology ideal for functional prototypes, end-use products, and low-to-mid volume production runs. From aerospace to automotive to medical applications, SLS continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in additive manufacturing.
However, this technology demands a high level of expertise and control. The process involves precisely tuned interactions between thermal energy, laser scanning strategies, and powder material characteristics. Variables such as layer thickness, energy density, and ambient thermal conditions must be tightly regulated to ensure part quality, repeatability, and performance.
In short, SLS is not a plug-and-play solution—it requires deep process knowledge, rigorous calibration, and constant validation. But when executed properly, it delivers unmatched results in strength, detail, and design complexity.
We specialize in Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) using engineering-grade nylon materials designed for functional, end-use parts. Our core material is PA12 nylon, which offers an excellent balance of strength, accuracy, durability, and chemical resistance. It is ideal for a wide range of applications including enclosures, mechanical components, and functional prototypes that require consistent performance under stress or heat. PA12 also provides a smooth surface finish and reliable dimensional stability, making it well-suited for parts that require tight tolerances or minimal post-processing.
For applications that demand increased stiffness or higher thermal resistance, we offer two glass-filled variations of PA12. GF20 contains 20% glass reinforcement and provides enhanced rigidity while retaining some impact resistance, making it useful for covers, housings, and moderate load-bearing parts. GF40, with 40% glass content, offers maximum stiffness and dimensional stability for structural components, fixtures, and tooling used in demanding environments.
In addition to our nylon materials, we offer a TPC elastomer—an impact-resistant, semi-flexible polymer that performs well in snap-fit designs, vibration-isolating mounts, and components exposed to chemicals, UV, or outdoor conditions. TPC is more rigid than traditional TPU, making it suitable for parts that need flexibility without sacrificing form or durability.
Together, these material options allow us to support a wide range of mechanical and environmental requirements, from flexible enclosures to rigid, load-bearing parts—all built with the precision and repeatability of SLS.
We offer a range of finishing processes to improve the appearance, surface quality, and function of SLS-printed parts. Every part is cleaned and de-powdered by default, but additional finishing options are available depending on aesthetic or performance requirements.
The standard finish includes full depowdering with no additional surface treatment. This is the default option for functional parts where appearance is not a priority. The result is a slightly grainy, matte surface typical of SLS-printed nylon.
For enhanced appearance, we offer black dyeing, which creates a deep, uniform finish without affecting part dimensions. Dyeing is ideal for visible parts, customer-facing prototypes, or branding requirements.
The shot peened finish is a mechanical surface treatment that smooths and densifies the part’s outer surface. It improves surface consistency, reduces porosity, and adds a subtle sheen. Shot peening is well-suited for production parts and functional prototypes where surface finish and wear resistance matter.
Vapor smoothing chemically smooths the exterior, reducing surface roughness and producing a polished, semi-gloss appearance. It also seals porous surfaces, making the part easier to clean. Vapor-smoothed parts are typically used for consumer-facing applications or environments where hygiene and visual appeal are important.
Lead time begins at 2 working days. Currently offered for PA12 Nylon only.
We allow up to 4 days or longer for larger orders and in case of any problems that we may have during the build process.
Priority is exactly the same as Standard where you join the front of the line and not the back.
Cost @ approximately 40% premium plus setup charge
Lead time begins at 5 working days for all SLS materials.
The build process and part quality is exactly the same as priority where you join the back of the line rather than the front.
We build everything as quickly as we can, so it is likely your order will ship before the estimated lead time although no lead time is guaranteed.
Cost @ standard pricing plus setup charge
For Standard finish there is no additional lead time.
For Dye services, additional lead time will begin at one day.
Up to four days may be added for additional Color Dyes, Shot Peened and Vapor Smoothing finish options.
